This collection has been inspired by a scrap of land, a concentration of beauty in the immensity of the Atlantic Ocean. In the Arcachon Bay, Bird Island is well known for its huts built on stilts and its coastal landscapes. Exceptional places where the dune forests meet the ocean shores, where graceful wading birds call each year. All the mystery and fragility of nature is captured on a textured paper in luminous shades.
PLONGEON

Take a dip in the ocean’s depths and the fresh shades. In contrast to traditional manufacturing techniques, PLONGEON has been made using an old textile printing machine, using 10 films to obtain an unusual amount of colour. Silhouettes of bathers, stylized plants and abstract shapes overlap in an aquatic medley, reinforced by the blotting-paper finish of the paper. PLONGEON is available in 5 versions and features bold colour combinations such as ochre and violet, blue and camel.

A design reminiscent of a lagoon with soft shades suggesting running water. Everything is undulating in this scene that recalls the Arcachon Bay. This panoramic view, stylised and abstract, is created on a fibrous paper using planes of colour to give a “handpainted” look. It is available in two colours.

On a textured non-woven suggesting paper fibre, vertical stripes are drawn. They bring together new colours: nude and rosewood, sorbet and honey. Some references are completely matte whereas others feature a bronze colour, created using metallic ink. Audacious colour combinations inspired by the Cap Ferret palette.

On a textured, fibrous paper, High Tide sketches the never-ending surge of the sea using sandy inks. A sensation of salt on the lips and windswept hair overcomes us. In this powerful rendering of the ocean, the waves take on accents that are sometime matte, sometimes metallic and the foam appears as delicate dots. Available in 5 colours, the waves are printed with golden, sandy ink on an emerald and white base, and white, sandy ink on blue, ochre and pale-green backgrounds.

In autumn, the migratory birds fly down from the Nordic countries towards Africa, pausing at Bird Island. Sanderlings, Black-bellied plovers and Common cranes alight in the bay and it is possible to watch them. On the paper, these graceful wading-birds are silhouettes against delicate vegetation. A subtle mix of chalk and metallic inks adds depth and refinement. MIRADOR is available in 7 colours.

On a smooth paper, the brushstrokes create ocean shores and dune forests as far as the eye can see. In soft watercolours, the iconic landscape of Cap Ferret comes to life. Umbrella pines, marram and tamarisk cover the characteristic sandy slopes of the Landes region. The gentle rain creates an infinite number of soft and luminous shades, curves coloured in green, rust or a surprising palette of beiges. Casamance has used the rotogravure technique to create the planes of matte shades that give the colours of Cap Ferret their finesse.
